How the floor works

Every coin launched on Hardfloor keeps a share of its own trading fees in a floor vault. Its floor is that vault divided by its supply, and anyone holding the coin can redeem against it at any time.

The floor

floor = floor vault ÷ supply. The vault holds the coin’s pair asset, so a SOL coin has a floor in SOL and a USD1 coin a floor in dollars. The supply counts every coin that exists, including the ones still in the curve or the pool, so buying never dilutes the floor.

Where the vault comes from

When a coin launches, Hardfloor gives it its own LaunchLab platform config and makes the coin’s own program address its creator on Raydium LaunchLab. LaunchLab pays the coin’s 3% of every trade into vaults that belong to that coin alone (2.5% platform fee, 0.5% creator fee). Every route that trades the coin pays it: Hardfloor, raydium.io, Jupiter and any terminal. After graduation the coin’s Raydium CPMM pool pays its 1.9% creator fee to the same address.

Sweep

sweep(coin) is open to anyone. It claims the coin’s fee vaults and splits what comes in 1 : 0.5 : 0.75: the treasury vault for the pair, the $HARD buyback vault for the pair, and the coin’s floor vault. On the curve that is about 1.33%, 0.67% and 1% of every trade. After graduation it also claims the pool’s creator fee and splits it the same way: about 0.84%, 0.42% and 0.63% of every pool trade. The keeper sweeps on a timer; every redeem sweeps first.

Redeem

redeem(coin, amount) sweeps, burns amount of your coins and pays you coins × floor vault ÷ supply from the floor vault, in the pair asset (SOL is unwrapped). There is no fee to redeem.

An example: redeeming a tenth of the supply takes a tenth of the vault. The floor per coin doesn’t move.

Why the floor never falls

Let V be the floor vault and S the supply. A sweep only adds to V. A redemption of a coins pays a·V/S, rounded down, and burns a, which leaves (V − a·V/S) ÷ (S − a) ≥ V ÷ S. No other instruction moves the vault. So the floor only rises, and if the price ever falls under it, buying and redeeming closes the gap.
